Last week we published an update about the death of paper business cards – and we aren’t the only ones in this camp. The week prior, we also published an article about them (I guess we’re stuck in a rut lately).
One of the cool ways to use this emerging technology that way is with digital business cards. It’s more convenient for the prospect and more useful as a sales tool for the sales associate. I see sales folks in many industries using digital business cards embedded in Apple & Google Wallet as an alternative to the tried- and-true paper variety.
Business cards, per se, are a dying breed, and they should be. The bulk majority if them end up as landfill fodder and no one can ever find the one they’re searching for when they need it.
