Wallets need to solve a problem, add some value, create something extraordinary – in order to be perceived as the thing you really don’t want to leave home without; otherwise they’re just an auxiliary mechanism that may or may not catch on.
So what to do about this quandary?
Obviously it’s going to take time for average person to decide they want to use a mobile wallet, and in the meantime the proliferation of wallet products will encourage competition and innovation –
