IoT (Internet of Things) is the concept of creating appliances and other items in cars, houses, hotels, etc that can be manipulated with apps, are interlinked and online, and should generally make life easier or appreciably more convenient.

Recently, at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Vegas, there were a plethora of IoT enabled devices on display –
